The fighting pits are now illegal but they still exist and still attract considerable amounts of tourists. These days in Havok the pits have gone below ground operating in sizable rooms that are part of the Albasa sewage network. They have converted rooms intended for storage into underground arenas. Here you can see and more importantly gamble on every kind of fight imaginable from three halflings fighting a mountain lion to a goblin strongman vs a female elven soldier.
