Comstock Bank Edgebury Branch

Bank

Standing opposite Albasa University the Comstock Bank is one of the oldest still functioning institutions in the city state. Still run by the aristocratic Comstock family the bank is heavily involved in the fancies of both universities, their students and staff. Beside that the bank provides loans to local businesses in Edgebury and beyond. The front of the building is guarded by large stone pillars that part for a ten foot high black doors. The gold knockers are rarely used as when the bank is open the doors are open and when they are closed there is little point in knocking. The bank is guarded day and night by four security guards who rotate the day and night watch with another team of four. They change shifts at 6 in the evening thirty minutes after the bank closes. The large lobby contains many dwarf trees in a nod to the bank being the first in the state to introduce paper money. Five tellers serve customers. The vaults are down a corridor off which are also the bank managers office and a private meeting room for discussions with aristocratic clients. The meeting room is opulent and is serviced by its own butler Jacob Daggersome. The banks finances were strengthened further when after the fall of the Hoxha regime many of the academics were arrested or executed by the victorious elf nation of MIxa leaving their wealth behind in the banks large vaults.
