The victory in the café’s name does not referred to a hoped for but dashed outcome of the last war, which Albasa lost, but rather to a victory, fought long before, hundreds of years earlier, against the goblin Zowa kingdom. The café is therefore hated by the goblins who see it as humans celebrating a military defeat of their people. It was also a favorite haunt of generals under the Hoxha regime hoping some of its faded glory might rub off on them. Today, the clientele is mostly human and mostly the wealthy youth of the aristo families who make their home in Edgebury.
