Effects of Celestine on Biological Matter

Celestine, as you might be familiar with, is a natural material that suffuses the air and space of our universe. Its uses are limitless: from engines to weaponry to agriculture and everything in between. But has anyone taken a deep dive into its effects on the body? For that discussion to take place, we have to make the distinction between particulate celestine and condensed celestine.

Particulate Celestine

The particulate form of celestine is what we normally find and use in the making of the **condensed** form. Solar sails catch and route particulate to a condenser that then makes rocks / ingots for use in engines. Uses include in glass, ammunition, and other celestine-based products where the particulate is mixed or alloyed.

This form of celestine is the one creatures in the universe are most often exposed to, and we've found that sensitivity to celestine (and the ability to manipulate magical effects) is different for every creature. Creatures, unless somehow allergic to celestine, don't tend to have any negative effects from the particulate in the air. As for large quantities of the particulate, the effects are similar to what is observed with condensed celestine.

Condensed Celestine

The byproduct of condensers used in solar sailing. Depending on the quality / size of the condenser, the condensed form is seen as either smaller rocks, orbs, or ingots of a standardized size. *For the purposes of this explanation, we will call them ingots.* Uses are mainly in propulsion and other cases where large amount of magical energy would be necessary.

Celestine Ingots are highly volatile and radiantactive material, and exposure is recommended to be done via specialized clothing. The short term, mid term, and long term effects have yet to be fully explored, mainly due to lack of ethical test subjects. The Silverbridge Corporation has some standing law suits on workplace exposure that can lend to assumptions, such as the weakening of the bones, short term and long term madness, hallucinations, heart issues, liquified skin, and obviously death.
