The Seraphic Inquisition is a movement created by the Celestials of the Caelum Galaxy. Their motives are simple: unite all sentient life within the galaxy under the rule of the celestials. Although not all celestials participate, a large majority of them do, causing many firefights and battles on the outer rims of Intergalactic Federation tradespace.
As with many religious beliefs, the Seraphic Inquisition has developed a cult following among sentients who believe it is their place to be serving their celestial masters. Sects of the Seraphic Inquisition among sentients range in zealotry from passive support, to political ideology, all the way to terrorist activity and paramilitary action.
