Worships The Morninglord
Associated with the sun, charitable deeds, warriors for justice, and an egalitarian, welcoming community. Some unsavory characters have used this good reputation as a foot in the door for more criminal activities and evils, such as The Flaming Fist - a zealous mercenary faction with authoritarian and xenophobic tendencies. Others, like the holy paladins of the Silver Order, dedicate their lives to destroy evil with the Morninglord's light.
Beliefs
- Help those that are in need with all you could offer. If you have two coats, give one to someone that is freezing on the streets. If you have an empty chair at your dinner table, let a hungry stranger share your meal.
- To be Human is to suffer and love life regardless. No matter the terrors that lurk in the night, the sun shall always rise in the morrow.
- Evil must be fought wherever it roams. Show mercy, but do not mistake it for weakness in the face of evil.
Goals
- Provide care to anyone in need, whether it's shelter, food, work, or more.
- Turn indifferent and cruel people to the light.
- Take a stand against evil wherever it lurks.
History
The Church is one of the biggest and newest religions that has spread throughout much of Aeries. Many important figures of the Church's history were killed when they entered the Rage of Demons as front-line combatants and medics against the demonic hordes. Many regions still heavily scarred by the Rage see the Church as close allies because of this.
