Elemental Plane of Air

Plane

“Of all the Inner Planes, the Plane of Air is easily the most pleasant. Endless azure skies punctuated by multicolored clouds above and below with absolutely no end in sight – it truly is a sight to behold. Islands of earth and ice float through the air and provide enough stable ground for travelers to put their feet down every once and a while, but the real joy comes in soaring across the boundless blue."
Ezoviar Gwyn, planar scholar

The essential nature of air is movement, animation, and inspiration. Air is the breath of life, the winds of change, the fresh breeze that clears away the fog of ignorance and the stuffiness of old ideas.

The Elemental Plane of Air is one of infinite skies, with no ground or sun; the sky itself emits a form of ambient light. Multicolored clouds consisting of a wide variety of gasses dance on the everpresent wind. At the 'center' of the plane lays the Eye, the central region around which a vicious and neverending cyclone spins eternally. The further away from the Eye, the dimmer the ambient light, and the stronger the winds.
