Wizards, sorcerers, and other magic users are considered 'skilled workers' within the economy of Erenen.
As such, one can easily earn some gold by working as a freelancer, performing magical odds and ends for those that need help.
To work as a freelancer, you spend a day helping various people with their problems. Make two Arcana checks. The DC is dependent on the type of tasks you set out to do. You choose one type of work for the day and make both checks at the same DC.
- Easy magical work has a DC of 10. This consists of simple uses of Prestidigitation to clean clothes or perform at children's parties, mend broken equipment, or adjust gear to the right size.
- Moderate magical work has a DC of 15. This consists of detecting and identifying magical objects, performing small feats of divination, and charging magical items.
- Complicated magical work has a DC of 20. This consists of lifting curses, placing complex protective wards, and dispelling magical effects.
Note the number of successes and failures. You receive the corresponding payment for your work:
