Born in the small town of Lindolor, she was destined to follow in her father's footsteps being a ranger.
During one faithful day when she was enjoying a walk through the hills with her favourite sheep: Damaika, she was admiring a piece of quarts she found. But while doing so, she encountered a wild wolf, sneaking up to Damaika.
Just seconds before the wolf could grab Damaika, she felt a primal force within her, and before she knew it, she changed the wolf into a warm blanket through the piece of quarts, covering Damaika whilst falling down. How she did that, she did not know. But she was very keen to find out.
After this event, Silaqui knew for sure what she had always known: she was destined to leave Lindelor and pursue a life as a wizard. Being a wood elf, Silaqui knew her parents wouldn't approve of this life choice and she was going to have to work hard in magic school. And eventhough she loved her parents very dearly, she made it clear that her mind was set: she was not going to continue a peaceful life, set in the forest.
Encouraged by her grandmother Quelenna to go through with pursuing a life of magic and adventure, she taught her younger brother - Aust - everything she knew about being a ranger, left for magic school and whatever adventures awaited her.
