The Proscrito Wetlands is a maze of mangrove trees in the east of Amarillo.
It is known to be a nightmare to navigate, with labyrinthian passages of waist-high saltwater. The incessant buzzing of numerous bugs and mosquitos only adds to the sense of disorientation.
Rumor has it that this area is home to small bandit- and pirate outposts.
