Training for Feats

Rules

You'll be able to seek out trainers and learn new feats. This works as follows:

  • Find a trainer and convince them to train you
  • Make a Training Roll for each day you dedicate to training
  • Pay the trainer for each day of training

Depending on the feat you choose, the DM determines

  • the trainer
  • the cost
  • the relevant skills
  • the Training Level

The Training Level is the number you need to reach with your cumulative Training Rolls to learn the feat. A Training Roll is made by rolling 1d20+INT+relevant attribute. For example:

Siegfried wants to become more Unknown. He has found a trainer willing to help him overcome his fears. The trainer asks 10 gp per day of training. The DM determines that his Training Rolls will require Wisdom. For every day spend training, Siegfried pays 10gp and rolls 1d20+INT+WIS.
Siegried's INT is 0, and his WIS is 2. The DM (secretly) determined that the Training Level is 50.
Siegfried rolls a 9+2, 4+2, 19+2 and 14+2, reaching a score of 50+ in 4 days.
