After an uneventful departure from Benson's Rest, The Raven Shield (aboard the Jackdaw) reach the ever-moving island of Turtleback.
Learning of the rules on the island, the party hands over their weapons on the docks, and are greeted by Aslyn, Brixom Malpa's informant in the city.
While following Aslyn to her hideout, the party meets Anissa, a painter with curious dreams. One of her most recent paintings features, to everyone's surprise, a familiar face:
Continuing their way through the city, the party beats up a small group of ruffians, with Lorenzo fighting with especially notable fury.
Once in the hideout, Aslyn lays out the situation, and the party takes a few days of rest.
