The Raven Shield makes their way to the scheduled meeting with Harald Wellington, the representative of House Lagunn in Turtleback.
While waiting for their meeting to start, they meet Jonas, a young problem solver for the company.
Upon laying out their case in front of Wellington, he agrees to help - if one of the Raven Shield agrees on a duel to the death against Jonas.
After some deliberation, Luciano Vanitoso steps forth.
In a dazzling display of swordsmanship and skill, the two seem evenly matched - until Jonas strikes forth with a potentially lethal blow. Luciano blocks it - with his left hand, gravely damaging it in the process. Utilizing the opening, Luciano in turn impales Jonas, winning the duel.
Jonas manages to survive, and both duelists receive emergency medical care.
With Wellington pleased, he agrees to support the Raven Shield's campaign, offering Jonas' help in the future, as well.
