The Battle of Lone Hill

Having received reports that Delinda Santino has ordered the complete destruction of the Castillo Valanga before her departure to Val Frossa, Avery Bellanti ordered Thaneus and Argus to keep and hold their position at Lone Hill - at all cost.

Reinforced with a squad of archers, a handful of partisans, and even a Minotaur, the duo fought off multiple waves of Aregis auxiliaries. 

Running out of patience, commander Orlando Giordano summoned their secret weapon - the monstrous Clockwork Dragon.

Thaneus played his trump card, and blew the Horn given to him by the Duergar - summoning a mighty Purple Worm.

With the two creatures duking it out, the duo held off enemy reinforcements. With the aid of Thaneus' spells and Argus's arrows, the Purple Worm managed to destroy the Clockwork Dragon.

The outpost was now a pile of rubble and a few walls, and the enemy kept coming. Desperate, bleeding and broken, the duo plunged themselves into the dark hole the Purple Worm had fled into.

Despite heavy casualties, the battle was a success, as all refugees from Asemo and Castillo forces were able to evacuate, collapsing their underground escape after them.
