Dr. Mark Zero is one of the most talented robot-scientists in the world. He is a genius, creating robots for a living and amassing a small fortune from his career. While he is very intelligent, he is also a deranged psychopath who believes a world where he can’t meet his twisted goals isn’t worth allowing to live.
His morals and mindset are a strange thing to dissect. While most find joy in their friends and making people happy, Dr. Zero genuinely prefers it when people hate him. If anyone doesn't hate him, he’ll make sure to change that. Unless of course he can use them for his benefit. He intentionally speaks as condescending as possible just to annoy anyone he can.
Dr. Zero believes himself to be the smartest man on earth, and has no sympathy for anyone he considers less than intelligent, which is most everyone in Yew Nork and the planet as a whole. He believes that he is the only one who can either save the fools of the earth, or purge them to make it a better place. There is no better showing of this than his creation of MK-ZERO.
MK-ZERO was created as a machine to attempt to destroy every living thing on the planet, at least that was one of the reasons he was made, the other was to be an enemy for the planet. Dr. Zero believes that if he could create an enemy for the world to face that was stronger than what they have, that the world would have to get stronger to face it. And if they couldn’t then he would just let MK destroy all the weaklings that weren’t smart enough to think of a way to defeat him. Unfortunately for Dr. Zero however, MK managed to make friends in Yew Nork that let him realize how Dr. Zero was making him do evil things. Dr. Zero hates the people of Yew Nork for ruining his machine, he spent a lot of time and money on MK, considering him his greatest scientific achievement. He also considers MK a failure for not completing his goals. He would rather have the genocide that would have occurred if his goals were reached than allow his creation a life of their own.
Once Mark learned about the camera’s in the Golden Rose, he realized it would be a perfect way to monitor the people of Yew Nork and find weaknesses. He ended up just enjoying watching the antics of the townspeople. He gives Psinful a weekly payment to keep the camera’s up. He still hates the townspeople and wants them to fail, but he can at least laugh at people he thinks are stupid. He even went so far as to plan his own death to be at the hands of Fay specifically so he could help the Veins in hell to screw over Dj. He was resurrected by the Veins in exchange for giving their armies robotic enhancements.
Dr. Mark Zero is a very dangerous individual. While he gets most of his kicks through blackmail and petty pranks, he is willing to go to incredible lengths to either harm others or help himself. Even if he has no magic or special abilities, he uses manipulation to get what he wants. He typically uses a hologram to go to Yew Nork, as he knows that if he were to go in person he would most definitely be killed for all the horrible things he’s done to the people of Yew Nork. He always finds himself a step ahead, and isn't planning to die to the people he sees as lesser beings than him, at least unless he plans it.
