Ferelden the Shattered City
The capital city of Leodurem Monarchy and one of the few ground zeros for the meteorite shower from the Night of Falling Stars. The city before that disastrous event was the central hub for order and laws for Leodurem Monarchy. The abundance of land around the city and defendable walls made it a popular place for ambassadors from other nations to easily plead cases for peace treaties. And the open landscape made it very difficult during The Conquerer wars for the elves to lay siege on the city.
After the Night of Falling Stars, and the initial shattering of the city, the whole nation of Leodurem Monarchy took to painstaking restructuring to get back on it's feet. Now with a steady source of Phrax Crystals the city was thrown into a magical industrial boom. Competing almost toe to toe with the mad scientists of Desconocido, Ferelden has made leaps and bounds in quality of life magic items. Nobles and high merchants take to the sky in personal transportations like flying carriages and broomsticks. The streets of every district are lit, plumbing is a rising infrastructural change and new constructs are pumped out by the year because of phrax.
Each district has taken to this age of change with a vigor to specify an glorify the unique productions people and livelihood that they produce.
