Morrasai Islands

Tree on a lone island rarely visited by adventurers. One lone man found that tree is the residual magical excess of a vast undersea ruin - a gargantuan temple in size that seemingly belonged to an unknown civilization. The tritons in the region denote it as a holy site, but protect it without adventuring closer to it. A wizard once reported that the ruined temple there is in fact not of Triton origin, and is one of the Eight Mysteries of the Oceans. Despite the fact it is completely submerged underwater, moss an reef aren't able to grow on the strangely metallic walls. Much of the buildings are fully angular, and quite claustrophobic. The Triton Priestesses warn and forbid any topsider from venturing too close underneath for fear of what may lie inside. 

No adventurer has yet to slip past the Triton gatekeepers, an truly plunder what amazing things could be left inside. Though on the surface island, the Dryad is rather amicable to many passersbys, it might be a Siren in disguise - but has been known to treat all those that could provide it entertainment an song very well. She is strong enough to deal with any ne'er-do-wells that try to cut down its very trunk. 

Island home to Zaxemar. Known as the most prestigious lair of the most powerful frost dragon on record, the horde of Zaxemar is a trial and a price for mainly the strongest frost dragon of each annual breeding season. Amongst the dragons an their kin, it is said those that are able to fight & keep inside the horde for an entire lunar cycle will achieve the ancient dragonforce of Zaxemar himself. Of course as all dragons do, it requires bringing in or depositing enough of their horde to try and claim all of the territory. This can be particularly dangerous when even for frost dragons, the ones that grow cunning enough may enlist adventurers and even other dragonborns to hunt & decimate the hordes of other nearby frost dragons. Each annual mating season becomes a turf war of the most cunning & cruel dragons. Woe be it to any adventurer brave, stupid, or desperate enough to take on some of the 'requests' or orders of these savage dragons. 

An enigmatic isle of everfrost, this land seems to be the counter to the natural volcanic activity around Morrasai islands. Part of the reason why this place is always seemingly ever-temperate, this isle seems to draw in the cold & keep it contained, mayhaps a forgotten relic or naturally large amount of frost phrax might have been gathered here accidentally or not. This island has made for a lovely sanctuary for some of the colder breeds of dragons & dragonkin, as not many other creatures can last the near subzero temperatures along this coast. Some sailors tell tales that this ice shelf might be the resting spot of some few smart pirates who have found ways around, and have stored, some of their most expensive prizes on the island. As far as current knowledge states, the only locals that have been able to traverse are the Tritons for their natural resilience to cold make it less dangerous to travel there. 

An island once not thought too much about, plain inlands forest but wide flat area had since been taken over by a family of sorcerers that built upon it a small community. Mounted in the center an still standing today lies a magical construction that almost tempts with an unimaginable power yet lies dormant. In today's day, the isle is perpetually covered in mist. Despite magic intervention the mist returns day after day, covering the barren farms and empty houses, all centered around a large dormant magical constructed temple. Etched in the halls of this temple seem to be murals of different planes an worlds but not enough information still resides to fully discern how this massive temple once operated or how the acolytes even went about their days, or it has long been pillaged. Some arcane researchers still believe there are hidden passages or locked away rooms yet to be plundered, but until there is signs of any sortof activities within the gargantuan runestone that floats above the temple, this island is doomed to remain in a blissful mist-borne sleep.
