Week of Godrings

Disaster

Once every three months when it's supposed to be the trifecta 'new moons,' the moons used to overlap eachother & create a 3-tiered ring in the sky that used to invoke the times where the spirits an the gods an the planes become closest (similar to hallow's eve). Ever since the third moon shattered, it has taken on a different form of 2 rings and with the circling astral belt, it now looks like an 'eye.' The templates for magic - arcane, divine, and the sorts.. get 'weird.' They fluctuate, come alive, it's a time that there's an increased chance for living magic creatures, aberrations, and monstrosities to be born. It's this period of 3 months in which the planes come together so closely that interplanar and planar touched beings are effected in strange ways.

Shadar-Kai

Unknown have a chance during the Week of Godrings to 'forget' all that they've experienced between then and the last Week of Godrings in the year. This means if they are not careful to venture into an external plane before the Week of Godrings, they forget their experiences between that week and the previous Week of Godrings in the year. During this week, Shadar-kai become susceptible to 'memory bleed.' They don't just forget, they end up taking on nearby memories of other people.

Genasi

Genasi during this week suffer from a cointoss of power fluctuation. Either they find their connection to their home element weakens making their natural magics weaker (-2 to save dc and damage rolls) or they take on the forms of their predecessors and achieve a form long left behind from the age of chaos. These genasi obtain power from another element and blend into a new form. Genasi gain access to the features and traits of one other subrace at random, either blending into a new symbiotic form, or straining under the combative paradox of two opposite elements fighting within themselves.
