The Dwarves' relation to Estoenia is the most amicable of the topsiders, as the Estoenians do show great honor to all of the Dwarven-made creations. As they still shirk the high magics, Dwarves see it as understandable. It's not proper for kids to be playing with such dangerous toys like magic, so they consider Estoenia to be quite restrained an respectable because of it. Knowing their limits but taking it slow & steady, quite commendable in the Dwarven eye.
Some few dwarvish envoys have made their way to Leodurem to find a blasphemy of a smelting pot. Rubbing elbows with some few monstrous races as well as ELVES... is quite blasphemous and how they put together all these different styles of magical architecture. They live in a rock that FLOATS! INCONCIEVABLE! How can ya properly mine it if you have to lose some mass - when the damn thing fall, what's the POINT?! It bamboozles the Dwarven royalty why that hunk of rock hasn't fallen if any mining is to be done and if they're not mining it what's the point? There's not been official meetings with the King & Queen. but an embassy with some potential to make political friendship is being talked about agnozzium - projected, building time might be the next couple dozen decades at the earliest. Some technologies do intrigue, and it's pretty worthwhile how they tend to study Phrax Crystal. Mysterious the king has not made public appearances for the past decade, mayhaps they're in a rut or had an embarrassing moment they simply need a couple years to get over before they'll get back into it.
Problematically with Humans.. by the time ya get around to getting to know someone or attempting to like them, they've up an' died.
Put them on the pew for spitting on the floor. Better for target practice if they could only put down some actual pounds.
Since there are many different tribes within the Wildlands & no unified establishment, trade is... spotty at best. Usually the caravans that would do trade come to Artungstein specifically for reasons which has made some political back-an-forth easier. Some of the orcs & giantkin are straight to the point, suiting dwarves fine.
Much respect is given to those of the Ograing. For the Giants below the ground have staked claim on the best concealed volcanoes and put out wares rivaling genuinely some dwarven creations. For giantkin on the topside, they are but the few creatures which can be easily welcomed into the great halls for they bring with them honor & wisdom of the ancients, traditions just as deep & sturdy as the strongest subterranean stone.
Talks with them have been nonexistent since the collapse of their furthest tunnels reaching Serenity. Unclear why it hasn't been fixed, but ever since the envoys take forever to even cross path & there may not be much Dwarves can offer Tritons & anything Tritons can give probably wouldn't work outside of that splash pond of theirs.
