Elise Dey Bondrele

Placed over her abs, the Fate Crests features a humanoid, lion, and smaller animals which are slightly aglow. She acquired this from Forest of Nightmares. 

• The Fate Crest indicates she is fated for a hero’s quest, exceptionally chosen to handle quite a few situations…
• If practiced, may grow into something more..
• Stories & legends of starting the first valkyrie units, conquering entire great sea beasts, riding pegasi into battle, bringing along an army of nature to their beck and call. 

Wide hoop-skirt with wavelike iconography at the bottom shifting with her as she rotates slightly. Going up the dress, the blue goes darker - into a dark navy like the night sky and into a greensash bow along the hips underneath the fancifully-laced corset. Going up past the maroon corset. Darker green with slight sparkles sash around her shoulders, and a smaller multi-rowed necklace almost emulating the night sky. Slightly wide sunbrim hat, coffed to the right side, darker almost black with tinges of red. 

• It looks like it’s going from the light of the ocean to the night of the sky.
• The dresses are made for the beach, so it’s cleanable but rather delicate.. Be warned about cuts, nicks, an sharp edges. 

She hails from Estoenia, Krimont / Kortselt as the Duke Bondrell's Daughter. Their family is known for their wine industry.

Elise has much apprehension about whether she gets along with her family. On a personal level she gets along with her family. On a social level, however, she does not. She believes her family did they best they could by remaining silent. The Duke Bondrell and his wife have not pursued much in the way of helping Krimont's social climate for their daughter's sake, nor encouraging her pursuits.

Home is more where she lives, was born. Sometimes it is just how it is - life isn't always about getting the perfect solution, the perfect circumstance. Sometimes a person has to make do with what they have. She has a wonderful father, great many brothers, and her mother cares a great deal about her.

They themselves don't despise what she does - but.. she worries she HAS been selfish..

Alois Bondrele, Duc de Charmont (Father) - Elise was the youngest of four children, and had great responsibilities with little parental support.

Bernadette dey Bondrele , Lady Charmont (Mother) - Frivolous and Social, she often spent more time with the ladies of court, leaving the raising of her children to maids.

Bernard Bondrele, Duke of Carana (Uncle) - Weary but Resolute, Bernard adopted Elise as a ward when she was seven years old, so that she could be married to a Daerinner lordling and strengthen relations. His brother being as distant and preoccupied as he was, he came to view Elise as a daughter of his own, and after his son’s death, named her heiress to Carana.

Tasha Bondrele, Lady Carana (Aunt) – A great patron of the arts, Tasha taught Elise to put words together in a pleasing way, and encouraged her to put her emotions into songs and poems. To this day, Elise retains the habits formed, though her life has changed considerably.

Lucas dey Bondrele (Cousin, Deceased) – A knight of great renown, Lucas grew up with Elise, and was someone she greatly admired. Upon learning of his death in the Hundred Years War between Daerinn and Valdor, Elise locked herself in her room, where she resolved to take up all that her fallen hero had lost. She began training with the horse, then the lance, and had armor made for herself.

Friends:

Unknown – Alastair commands the Black Dogs, of which Elise was the second in command. Initially charged with bringing Elise home and convincing her to abandon her foolish ambitions at knighthood, Alastair instead recruited her to lead his heavy cavalry. She has been a powerful asset, executing his plans with absolute obedience and competency. She idolizes him for giving her a chance that would not have come otherwise.

Unknown –  First encountered the Black Dogs by humiliatingly defeating Elise at tournament while masquerading as his former master, (and unknown father) Sir Hector Lowe. Elise was forced into close contact with him, as Alastair planned to use him as a ‘court infiltrator’, passing him off as a foreign knight to get them more support from the upper echelon of Daerinn society. Through Wallace’s dedication, bravery, and skill over the course of the war, Elise’s opinion changed from hate and disgust to quiet admiration. Things came to a head shortly after the end of the war, and Wallace confessed his feelings for her at the victory celebration.

Unknown – It’s often he who provides Elise with context to Wallace’s often infuriating actions. 

Unknown – He served to support the other leaders of the Unknown when they needed it, often talking simply to get their minds off of defeat or battlefield horror.

Due to her gender, she struggles with her identity as a Knight and had to disguise herself as a male in able to participate in Jousting Tournaments. However, during one of her Jousts she was outed as a woman. 

The Black Dogs enabled her to pursue her dreams with a peculiarly egalitarian arrangement, offering social protection for her wants an wishes. 

Many commonfolk do not care for gender and such sexism, letting people live their lives as they please. Nobles, however, find themselves with too much free time and as such oppress their people and each other with frivolous ideas about gender roles. The Duke Bondrell and his wife have not pursued much in the way of helping Krimont's social climate for their daughter's sake, nor encouraging her pursuits.
