Ghost Spider

They have a slight shapeshifting quality in which Carapaces allow them to blend in better with whatever environment they're in, taking on aspects. 

Summer makes their carapaces have licks of fire an is thicker, making them combat aggressive and a more sustained fighter instead.

Spring is mossy, may accidentally grab hold of various plant types. Still carnivore. Capturing or taming may make for interesting flower or plant samples. 
Winter has a Stark translucent white quality to it, as winter ghost ones are the most quiet an elusive. Unable to be heard while in wintery environments, making them THE deadliest ambush predators. 

Autumn is more fickle with more trap expertise, not the best at hiding but utilize burrow tactics so their carapaces aren't like others. They don't blend, going more dirt brown as they take on more of the digging like a Tarantula or Brown Recluse. 

Ghost Spider Webbing could be used to provide after-image effects below the clothing

• As an example, walking in a dress could have the trail record moments after so as to create a slow-motion effect and in dim light the wearer has a flat chance of disappearing.
• Spidersilk Clothes tend to be flowy & light enough to feel like a wearer's butt naked, translucent enough to where it's almost like the wearer's naked, and still covers where a person needs it.  

 Some people wonder if a person tries to wear armor or clothing above a ghost spider ensemble, whether the dress would end up looking like it fully disappears; giving the illusion a person is walking around nude from the waist down. It would make a statement in the courts, and some amazing makers could do something interesting with it.

FASHION

The races would typically interact with the material for fashion as such; 

• Dwarfs would look at the material with fascination and excitement of the effects spider silk could have in clothes. They may detest having to cross into Drow territory to harvest some, but they would trade good stuff for the raw material just to be able to see if they could do something with it. They may take that material and layer it on a dress corset with some back spider legs that can stretch and pull the strands so that the dress LITERALLY tells a mural story as you walk. They'd be the first to try dying it, and seeing that the silk has holographic properties - they'll MAKE it into a production!
• Humans would make a regular dress out of it, maybe working it so it covers most things.
• Drow would use it to make elaborate see through dresses with some bells & whistles, flaunting what their momma gave them.
