Where much of the graduated Drow live. The Hive System is still implemented, but the Drow get a choice of who they live with communally - now learn more of the outside world. Hunting, gathering, growing, survival, as well as get their first interactions with some select people from the outside world. Some merchants, warriors, people - who are privy to this Glen's location are brought in to expose the Drow to all the other races they were once taught to be lesser-than. There are but few people who live in this coven full time who aren't Drow, and when stragglers from outside OR welcome guests are to arrive, it becomes a bit of a local event. Frequently does it turn into a fullblown festival once the traveling city-state Vostueria comes by. It is the center of trade where they learn much of what they need to survive, and those that have gained trust or piety with Eilistraee are gifted their silverswords & granted access to leave the Glen. The reigning earliest record for a Drow to reach this point is a couple months after reaching the surface, but the average of how long it takes is 2-3 years. There are still some Drow that may take even a decade or two before they can integrate onto the Main Square. Any Drow that does not fully comply with the Hive Training are given leeway to leave after undergoing a protection ritual - unbeknownst to them it is a ritual involving a certain Azerai that carefully reaps the memory of the Glen from the Drow's mind. The Priestess will send off the Drow outside of the forest, giving them the freedom to choose where they would want to go. Any Drow at this point do understand that retreating back into the Underdark is nary a functional idea, so they are merely given a guidebook, rations, some weaponry - and their belongings they came with, venturing off to wherever they choose. 

After a few years of communal living in the Main Square, many Drow that have remained go into specializations to help around the Glen. Those that will follow Eilistrae's teachings fully will continue training in the Grotto where they are taught the unique bladesinging magic of Eilistraee. This new type of magic & rituals is taught to enhance any magical or martial potential the Drow already had growing up in the Underdark City States - now augmented with dancing rituals and the weapon specializations prone to Eilistraee. Rapiers, shortswords, & light to no armor. After sufficient teaching an training, Drow here are given leeway to actually leave the forest in its entirety traveling to local mountains & planes they are given much more freedoms to spread the word of Eilistraee attempting to do good in the world. Usually at this point the first Drow begin their first pilgrimages, vying to venture out towards new lands that may have either previously been anointed by Drow presence or those that have never seen it and still fear the presence of them. They venture out to teach the world that not all Drow are deadly & dangerous, and as hard as this pilgrimage is it is a necessary one for there to be any hope that the Drow can walk amongst other civilized humanoids. At this point the Drow Priestess find themselves anointed with another role in this world as well, for similar to the Tieflings, Drow being from an obscure corner of the material plane they have seen & dealt with various dangers none on the surface have ever encountered yet as they've traveled they have discovered creatures & entities equal to, or even more dangerous, than those in the Underdark. By decree of Eilistraee herself, priests & priestesses have a duty to protect those from these aberrant forces plaguing the world above. Many high-ranking priests & elites choose to make their presence known on the material by hunting such aberrant beasts, beholders, Aura Eater and the like. 

They've adopted some similar attributes to Wood Elfs. The Glen has been built with a few houses, both inside some of the gargantuan tree trunks and some in the canopy. There are many houses built of rock & stone either close to or underneath the roots on the ground floor. Any housing built of stone or rock is usually disguised with grown plants & shrubs to blend with the environment. Some priestesses & other Drow with innate magical abilities manipulate plants to cover or reveal as they see fit. This glen is probably massive, different boroughs came about based off how far a Drow has transitioned in learning the ways of Eilistraee. There is a larger section based off predominantly stonework buildings, some mimicking the spider iconography they are used to. With smaller buildings called 'hives,' communal housings that are co-ed to help break down the previous Drow-imposed societal living of separate housing for males, females, and further separated housings for high-ranking women & their consorts.

This can be a challenging start as many Drow which ascend retain ingrained cultural norms still etched into their very bones. There are many times of revolting Drow females who seek to 'EXILE' the men in their hives, but must learn new ways to help each other. Within these hives, eilistraen priestess come in to delegate household roles & teachings onto all of the Drow. The men & women work together to do household chores and in the cases of previous 'privileges' they used to have in the Underdark, it has been taught of a INTERESTING 'free use' liberal system to teach men to have more agency in their lives, choices, and pleasurable activities, with Drow females. This is both to have the Drow men gain more confidence on the surface, and to teach the Drow women some open-mindedness. This usually causes quite a bit of a STIR for many new Drow... and has been thankfully quelled thanks to much outside donations, mainly from teachings of the Jorien Church. The teachings have come to a lovely middleground of Drow women accepting that they must court the men & consent is key - and SOME men do find confidence in this new world but many still struggle with the sudden shift in dynamics.
