To the Drow, a venom spider is the epitome of Arachnid. With their refined intelligence and deadly cunning, venom spiders are suspicious of the dark elves and their motives, even though they are both servants of the spider goddess. Occasionally a spider and an individual Drow will strike a deal to work together, but at the first sign of coercion or drift towards dark elf aims and ambitions, the venom spider cancels the pact, often killing and eating the former partner in the process.
