The wind element is difficult for stronger Azerai, far more mental than other ones. Each element has different values that lead to controlling them, or suffusing, or fusing with them - which requires deep personal growth on the act of the Summoner. Any FAILED attempts with wind usually was an act of flexibility, essentially it is trying to ask an elderly to perform the acrobatics as a gymnast. Except for the mind - if rooted in identity or forms, it is essentially trying to be a lamp post during a hurricane. It will get blown over.
