Crimson Crusher, high level barbarian, did merc work before going adventurer. He's a renoun dragon skirmisher. Despite fair share of battles, he did come back with the third highest record of Dragon Lair raids. Especially for Dragonborn culture, adventurers are treated highly as they keep what they find and being able to successfully raid a dragon's lair is the bare minimum to become known in the islands. Sergeant has done repeat jobs, a veteran.
While not actually being named "Sergeant," it is a nickname given unto him for his raising/guidance of the young. He has a more cooled attitude towards Eshire, believing that making jokes or ribbing about something is a sign you've moved past it or are mostly over it now. Confrontation is healthy in relationships or interactions.
