Archimedes

What felt like years passed in the span of a month as Yantzi a.k.a Isabella Sozalla discovered one of the last Primeforged - a cantankerous construct called Archimedes This ancient and so very SLOW Eidolon grew to be the bane of her existence as while Yantzi was accustomed to being a fast-talking wise-cracking conversationalist, Archimedes seemed to think and respond in the PAST - taking more than five or so minutes each time she finished talking just to even respond to the FIRST SENTENCE she had said. Communication was DIFFICULT but Archimedes was the only sentient thing down here. Truly it was either this, or the dark abyss for anywhere Archimedes was not, lost power and lighting. After spending just the first week running through Archimedes routine over and over, she was finally able to stay awake for when he'd respond to some of her questions, learning Archimedes was -is- some sortof historian meant to maintain records of the old Giantkin era intact. It was grueling, but... over the course of HIS CHORES, Archimedes did pass on the knowledge to READ some of the basic Rune Craft the Giants are most well-known for. This rudimentary learning made her capable enough to even augment Archimedes against his slow-moving will, and honestly way too easily, to at least give him an update he so sorely needed. With his upgrades in tow, conversations now... shrunk from a 2-hour lecture time to a half-hour to an hour of conversation attempts. Even with his newly discovered efficiency, Archimedes chose to take it slow to ensure that everything is done right, even his attempts to teach her. Nothing that Yantzi seemed to say could move Archimedes to leave the library until one day, she happened across records that were familiar to her even before coming down here. Amongst the ancient records, she'd discovered some artefacts she had personally appropriated from other ancient tombs. To her horror, she discovered that many of these artefacts did not belong to the current or older civilizations that she had taken it from. No, they belonged to someplace far past our realm and were far more dangerous than she could've ever imagined. Yantzi pushed Archimedes this one time to move to break out from this library, to search for something that did not belong on the surface in hopes to see if Archimedes would at least FINALLY tell her some way to LEAVE this blasted library once again. Even if she had to try to..attempt to FORCE the answers out of the old bag of bolts. For the first time in weeks though, she was surprised that Archimedes answered. It came swiftly, in one word, "OK." With a strange resolve, Yantzi was able to recruit Archimedes to exit this ancient crypt, once again walking the world to recover ancient artefacts that truly do not belong in the hands of mortals.
