Benrik was a Lieutenant under Leanna Gadreel. He got kidnapped by Daelkyr, who tortured and experimented on him for weeks. Once he finally managed to escape, he roamed the The Lhazaar Principalities for a while, shunned for the strange experiments the Daelkyr performed on him. Eventually Leanna found him, took him in and showed him how to gain more control over his body, eventually giving himself his hardened arm. He was loyal to a fault and always trusted Leanna's judgement, which would ultimately be his downfall.
When the crew of The Evernoon fought and defeated him on Whale Island, they removed his Daelkyr experiments. This send him in a rage, warping both his body and mind. Later, the crew found him again in the forest, unrecognizable. They fought again and finally put him to rest for good.
