The hyehoon are humanoids spliced from avian and hominid DNA. They are a dynamic and inquisitive culture, producing explorers, scientists, diplomats and traders. The hyehoon face internal strife from conflict with the minority religious faction known as the Eden Seekers, who reject their legendary creator, the gengineer Anat Morao, and seek to devolve their species to nonsapience by purifying their avian genome.
