The Black Knight of the Knights of Avalon and Matthew "Walsingham" Hopkins's commander. After the assassination attempt on Queen Elaine he became regent of Avalon and grew increasingly extreme in his measures to maintain control and deal with what he viewed as the threat of the Sidhe. The heroes worked together to defeat him and he was eventually killed in combat by Reinette Varonne.
In one possible future timeline he became immortal and slew Queen Maab throwing the balance of the world in chaos.
