They are barely intelligent enough to be considered sapient, and many believe they don't even have souls that are significant enough to reincarnate, being more similar to animals. Trolls are typically solitary hunters, killing and eating anything that is smaller than they are. However, a youngster raised by Orcs can be trained to be more docile if it knows it has food security.
