Mannerisms
Kind, friendly, trusting, and optimistic, Idealistic and determined, unrelenting and stubborn. Brave but merciful, Reckless at times. Quick to attach, quicker to act. Follows his heart more than his head. Just and morally bound. Recent events have hardened him a bit, and he is less reluctant to do what is necessary and to lean on his fallen abilities.
Goals
He aims to save and help as many people as he can, determined to outrun the shadow of his father's secret cruelty and maybe even outdo his heroic deeds one day. Wishes to do right by his goddess and by others, and to have a happy life with those he cares about.
Fears
Abandonment, Failure, Coming off as weak. He deeply fears loss, especially of those who have come to mean the most to him, but fears nothing greater than his father, who has been the biggest horror in Dibrael's life since his childhood.
Ideals
Justice, Peace, Integrity, Honesty, Hope. Believes in seeing the best in people and in never giving up. He has faith in the god Aerdrie Faenya, with her creed of freedom and impulsiveness, and tries his best to live by it.
Traits
Good natured and humorous, Dibrael is an easy person to befriend. He's compassionate, giving, and aspires to be a hero and do as much good as he can before he's put into the ground. Playful, even a bit childish at times when given the opportunity to be. He's not hard to like- but it's easy to know him for weeks and realize he's told you very little about himself. Keeps his past close, primarily only revealing tidbits to those who might benefit from knowing. Struggles to see himself as worth focusing on and rarely believes he is "allowed" to want or need things. Self sacrificing to an astounding degree. He thinks he is neutral about himself, but beneath the heavily rooted compartmentalization he has a lot of self loathing. Driven by emotion and his personal code of ethics almost exclusively, for better or for worse. A jack of all trades with creative pastimes, only particularly skilled at cooking. Not always a natural leader, but can take the mantle if necessary
