Party continues travel toward Neverlight Grove...
1: Party fights some hostile fungus; one explodes into deadly spores, but no one is in range
2: Sarith pulls out a compass (previously magical, now broken) and reveals to the group that he used to be a cartographer
3: Zaz finds a small pile of magic items, mostly useless
- gauntlets of fire detection = detects fire (range of touch)
- lightvision goggles = sunglasses
4: Party spots a strange symbol written in blood; Jorlan says it's drow for "demons ahead"
- shortly after, they run into a group of dretches eating the corpse of a person
5: Dibrael gets fatigued from a spell, so Mylz and Zaz check on him
- Dibrael accidentally refers to Zaz as his boyfriend
- Zaz confronts Dibrael about this and impulsively kisses him

6: Sarith finds a diary written in Elvish, goes pale after skimming it, and tosses it away
- Jorlan picks it up and Skjorn reads over his shoulder; he informs the others that it documents a sick elf's final days
- Zaz reads it to get familiar with the sickness's progression; Sarith's condition isn't promising
7: someone finds a hand drum and gives it to Rumpadump
- Topsy compliments Rumpadump's playing as they pass through a large cavern
- a wordy-wordy echoes her, revealing a bunch of them hanging from the ceiling
- Zaz offers the creature food and it flies down to greet him
- Skjorn chants "penis" until all of the wordy-wordy are saying it
8: a capper falls on Skjorn's head and shapes itself like a wizard's hat
- Jorlan says the capper does not stay on during sex; a nearby wordy-wordy echoes "Sex!"
9: Yuk Yuk finds a sling and decides he will be making mischief with it from now on
10: Party fights a shadow demon
11: suffering from exhaustion, Sarith has to take a break in the middle of the day
- Jorlan approaches him and suggests he give the directions to someone else, because he's not sure if Sarith will make it there at this point
- Sarith lashes out, insisting that he can take care of it
12: Yuk Yuk finds a dread helm, a magic item that only makes your eyes glow red when you wear it
- Turvy finds this especially cool
Location: Neverlight Grove
Party finally reaches Neverlight Grove; Sarith is eager to show it off to everyone
- it's a beautiful, magical place completely covered in mushrooms and glowing plants
- Skjorn & Jorlan think they're on the Astral Plane (they consumed hallucinogens on the way here)
Party meets Sovereigns Phylo and Basidia
- Phylo welcomes them to the grove, grateful that the myconid sprouts have been returned home; it invites everyone to enjoy themselves
- Phylo asks that they not go to the "Garden of Welcome" yet as the "Circle of Masters" is preparing a special surprise
- it also says the "Great Seeder" can answer any questions they might have, but they'll have to experience "her" themselves
- this is strange, as myconids have no concept of gender
Basidia is uncomfortable around Phylo and volunteers to give Party a tour
- Junior says Phylo has weird spores
