Location: The Underdark
the first night back in the Underdark, Jimjar asks Dibrael to cook something special for everyone
- Sylrien offers himself up as assistant chef, and makes sure everyone else is served before himself
Jimjar makes fast friends with Elias; sometimes it seems like they speak entirely different languages at each other, but somehow understand each other anyway
- Elias seems to be really good at asking questions or saying things that are perfectly innocent but put Dibrael on edge
- Sarith approaches Elias and asks how he is supposed to address them in Common; Elias teaches him about non-binary (and therefore trans) people
Mylz begins her rounds around the camp, setting up alarms and traps, looking over the party's supplies and equipment, etc.
- Tamryn joins her after a bit, concerned about her running herself into the ground; she insists on helping
- once dinner is ready, Elwyra drags Mylz over to the campfire and forces her to take a break; Tamryn assures them that she'll take care of the rest of Mylz's tasks herself
Aerlian offers to help Zaz set up his tent, but really he uses it as an opportunity to belittle and intimidate him
- Dibrael and Mylz see this from across the camp, and both of them are suspicious of Aerlian
- later, Mylz corners Aerlian and gives him a Warning about good teamwork and keeping his mind on the mission
- Mylz then privately expresses her concern about Zaz to Elwyra, who tries to get Zaz's mind off things by teaching him how to make a bomb
Ulgreat warms up to Thora, who seems to be slowly worming her way into everyone's good graces
- Thora spots a flash of Dibrael's plushie, which he seems embarrassed about, so she privately introduces him to her own later
