The Shipbuilders
Many people are surprised that House Cavriis is only a minor House when it has held such great power throughout almost all of Nebayan history. Its power in the shipyards is the exact reason why it has not been allowed to hold much power in actual worlds or land, though they still often have as much influence as many of the Great Houses.
One of its more famous recent members is the Hag, Sairhiban the Hag, a dancer who married into House Tezeta and saw a huge decline in House Cavriis's power due to her hatred of her father, Deleyr I.
The Deleyrs:
It is not very common for Nebayans to carry a name from one generation to the next, especially repeatedly in consecutive generations. But once House Cavriis blamed the untimely deaths of Deleyr I and II on the Hag and her new Tezetan family, the name had become tradition, for II's wife was pregnant with a boy before she became a widow. III and IV, and a few extraneous cousins also named some variation of Deleyr have also died too young, and the House blames every death on House Tezeta even though the Hag is now dead. They are now on Deleyr V, who is still currently alive, though he makes many people miserable with his drinking and paranoia.
