Srisari are an aquatic, humanoid race of psuedo-empaths, and the chosen people of Ranoct. Srisari are a sincere, impulsive, and spirited race that, in general, are endlessly devoted to their goddess and her teachings.
Srisari do not have a traditional sense of taste, but rather, use retractable fins around their mouths to "taste" the emotions of those around them. This ability is generally capable of sensing the emotions of creatures around 10-15 feet away, but with training, this radius can be increased. Outside of water, the This ability is typically used to flavor meals, which are given taste by the company they keep. Most srisari despise eating alone, as that assures a bland meal.
Srisari tongues are tipped with a bony "spear", and are used to hunt prey in the water by building pressure in a throat chamber to eject the spear from their mouths at high velocity.
Srisari are carnivores, and have stomachs incapable of processing plant matter.
