Kalasharat Mnethenor

Kalasharat Mnethenor, more famously known by his moniker the Swarm King, was a entomomancer and former tyrant that once controlled much of Griethe, Deirrin, and threatened the southern reaches of Sothon before his ultimate demise at the hands of the Hands of Kalora, an event that many use to mark the end of the Whispering Age. Mnethenor was infamous for creating a strange insect known as a Toromouth, each of which apparently held a fragment of his soul. Mnethenor sacrificed his mortal body to achieve full control over these insects, which he could use to possess the bodies of others by embedding the bugs within a host's lungs. This power, which effectively granted him a form of immortality as long as one toromouth survived, precipitated the downfall of multiple civilizations and is still the cause of stigma against the continent of Griethe, Mnethenor's homeland.
