Rising Cemetary of Grosk

The Rising Cemetary of Grosk is a massive, sprawling landscape of graves, mausoleums and dungeons whose rocky land seems to slowly yet continuously rise, becoming stone spires that reveal more and more coffins, tombs and crypts. According to Gothurian script-keepers, the land once belonged to a prototypical Sothonic kingdom known as Grosk. While Grosk was apparently a powerful kingdom in its time, it is not believed that its people alone could have filled the sheer number of graves present in the Rising Cemetary, even if they had also interred the corpses of their historic enemies. Adding to the confusing nature of the tombs is that the stonework varies drastically; expeditions have discovered Iscasian style graves interred within seastone Kavoyan crypts, guarded by statues with the likenesses of the Malthuna. Races and creatures of all descents have been discovered in the graves of the Cemetary, many of whom are discovered holding precious materials and relics. These riches have spurred many to explore the Cemetary, though few return without losses, as most of the dead will eventually rise to bury any invaders that disturb their strange rest.
