  1. Quests

Counter-Thieving

Heist

Preferred play time: Any Weeknight, potentially a weekend night depending on the weekend.

Name: Sparky Fizzlepot, Arcanist Extraordinare

While I may not have the most experience in thievery, I think you'll find my skills and my cunning intellect will make up for any perceived issues. As a gnome, I'm the perfect size for hiding, blending in, and going through tight spaces. In previous adventures I've been able to hide from beasts by standing in some tall grass - none can find the great Sparky! I also make a great decoy. As some of my fellow adventurers will attest to, when it came to clearing the snake temple on behalf of Lord Marvis, I made the perfect distraction for my companions, allowing them to sneak by and dispose of the snake priests.

I also can be a bit of a trickster, with spells for creating distractions be it a puff of smoke or words in the sky, or conjuring up friendly familiars or hands to open and unlock doors. In Aggamaggan's tower these spells were especially useful in looking for traps and entering doors that may be were best left closed. I'm also able to comprehend any and all languages that I see and hear, and have a keen eye for investigating, especially when it comes to magic.

Finally, I have been studying new spells and have recently taught myself the ways of the Etheral Plane. I can quickly escape here, vanishing in thin air from those that may be looking for me.

While I may be small in stature and experience, I think you will find that I am more than qualified to assist in this quest. I look forward to working with you and others on this. You can reach me at the guild at your earliest convenience.

Kind Regards,
Sparky

Would prefer a time a bit later in the evening.

Name: Falion Timberwind

Experience: You should know better than to question the clandestine capabilities of a wood elf. My talents were gained through the tracking, pursuit, and elimination of various beasts and monsters. All this stalking through the forest and skulking through caves requires a good amount of stealth if one prefers their head stay attached their body.

Relevant Areas of Proficiency: Stealth (+8), Insight (+6), Perception (+6), Survival (+6), Sleight of Hand (+5), Acrobatics (+5)

Skills: Darkvision. Ignore difficult terrain. Above-average movement speed. Particularly adept at tracking or locating Monstrosities. When alone, can travel stealthily at a normal pace. Can hide in plain sight given the presence of natural phenomena, i.e. rain, mist, or light foliage. Excellent ranged fighter (longbow), with capability to move into close-quarters combat (shortsword).

Pièce de Résistance: Mastery of abjuration spell Pass Without Trace.

Preferred play time: Mon-Thurs, late. Not generally available on weekends.

Name: Viktoria Cosmika, independent contractor currently on assignment with the Guild.

Experience: (Past contracts are confidential, therefore pseudonyms and broad descriptions will be used.) My most recent contract prior to coming to the guild was as an investigative consultant to the security services of an unnamed medium-sized port city. While acting in this capacity, I had several roles. First, I worked directly with a senior investigator to secure access for the city bureaucracy to the coffers of a network of smugglers and larcenists moving black market and purloined goods through the port. My abilities to deceive, inveigle, and obfuscate, combined with magical competencies in invisibility, distraction, and manipulation assured the success of this operation. Second, through subterfuge and disguise, I gained entreé to a house of ill repute, gaining valuable intelligence on a certain council member whose interests were at odds with those of my employer. Finally, I participated in a turf war among criminal factions, providing air support during raids and skirmishes. Due to the face-to-face nature of the open fighting, my wings and long range offensive spells were especially useful to the gang allied with the security services of the city.

Skills: Talented at deception and distraction thanks to an overactive imagination and the ability to change my appearance and create illusions and sensory effects. My shifting appearance,  wings, and the option to become invisible are also helpful at entering places where one might not otherwise be welcome.

Spells: I can cast Prestidigitation, Thaumaturgy, Mage Hand, Disguise Self, and Silent image repeatedly. These should help with distraction and disguise. Invisibility is also in my arsenal for these purposes, but I cannot employ it limitlessly as with those listed previously. Should it come to a fight, I can deploy Eldritch Blast, Hex, Armor of Agathys, Hold Person, Fireball, and Hypnotic Pattern.

Additional Qualifications: Flight (I have wings and know how to use them). Languages (Abyssal, Draconic, Infernal).

Yon tal Fura

Yon tal Fura

Distraction or Infiltrator

Name: Yon tal Fura

Experience: A hardened warrior capable of infiltration, disguise, seeing through any darkness; even magical; and capable of understanding any language.

Skills: My Devil's Sight grants me the ability to see through any kind of darkness that may pervade an area. Able to disguise myself at will any number of times into just about any disguise. Spells to incapacitate enemies and that can make me understand any languages except codes. Also rather masterful at deceiving others though I normally would think of using such a skill except in a scenario like this.

Spells: The spells I'd be bringing are as follows: Cantrips; Booming Blade, Eldritch Blast, and Prestidigitation; 1st level; Comprehend Languages and Hellish Rebuke; 2nd level; Hold Person and Misty Step; 3rd level; Counterspell and Remove Curse.

Tools: I am capable of infiltration with thieves' tools of a distraction with a horn.

Additional Qualifications: I am also very stealthy, can understand a person's intention quite well, am perceptive, and investigative. Also the ability to conjure just about any weapon at will.
