The current Councilor representing Avwyn, Iris rose to her position less out of a desire for power or station and more from being one of the only one of her people who saw the sense in taking the job. Considered by most in Avwyn to be a rather modern thinker, Iris saw the benefits that being more closely involved with The Hub could bring to her people and took it upon herself ensure that the opportunity provided by The Hub was not passed by. She has since come to be well-respected amongst her colleagues as an incredibly level-head and practical thinker, even if she's not always the easiest person to get along with.
Though most within Avwyn consider her to be performing her role admirably, when they think of her at all, there are some who regard her a dangerously modern and consider the relations with other Realms that she advocates for to be a danger to their way of life.
