Aasimar are descended distantly from celestials and are associated closely with Lunarke, a region considered to be holy by many. In antiquity, the association was extremely accurate, but over time stereotypes about the Aasimar and Lunarke have become less accurate.
The pilgrimage sites in Trankvilo continue to be populated mostly by Aasimar, but the settlements in Vostoventro and Fort Brakov are home to people from all over the world. The most common occupation of Aasimar in Lunarke is serving pilgrims at the monasteries of Trankvilo and the Outfitter stations in Cape Kaneyo
