rivulets of blood down its carved cheeks.
Captain:
Raelison Draeve, a human woman with raven-black hair, deep set green eyes, and a scar running diagonally across her face. She is ruthless and charismatic, with a knack for strategy and a sixth sense for anticipating the movement of her prey. She’s known for giving her enemies a single chance to surrender before unleashing her unrestrained fury. She operates out of a secret cove known only to the sworn members of her crew.
Notable Events:
The story of the Crimson Tear might be a sad one if not for the many left dead and maimed in its wake. The ship was originally christened as the "Sullen Swan" and captained by Radison Draeve, a merchant on the Ebonstone coast. A reasonably successful trader, Radison was killed in a raid set up by corrupt members of his guild. Mad with grief, his wife Kleo liberated the ship from its mooring, rechristened it the "Crimson Widow", and began a decade long campaign of terror against the ships of her husband's former guild. After falling ill due to a cursed flagon, Kleo died at sea and her daughter Raelison assumed command. While her mother may have still harboured some empathy and compassion for the innocent sailors and passengers swept up in her vendetta, Raelison holds to no such weaknesses and gives no quarter.
Rumors:
Sailors claim Raelison wears a necklace strung with beads made from the dessicated eyes of her enemies,
each one representing a captain she’s defeated.
