Karakor, leader of the tribe that currently inhabits the region of Dankhold, is a hulking monster of a lizard that stands towering above even the largest predator in the swamp. He is, by all accounts, on top of the food chain, and those who enter his territory should respect that claim. Karakor has said to existed in the swamp since lizards first began their lives on Falanar, and there are many lizards who have long since left the swamp that back up that claim.
Karakor leads the single largest tribe in the swamp, and has a mind for tactics that involve overwhelming force and brutal attacks. The Steel Fang Tribe consists of only the strongest battle-proven lizards, those chosen in trials of combat that are held frequently. Those who are chosen to join Karakor in his hunts must be ruthless, fast, and be willing to throw themselves entirely into the fight.
Karakor himself holds sole ownership over what many speculate to be an ancient artifact of Falanar, bestowed upon him by Sobek himself, their patron deity. This amulet is said to grant Karakor immortality and, according to some, grant him the ability to summon packs of extremely large crocodiles with horns and golden teeth.
This is, of course, all from reports of those who survived run-ins with the lizard, and should be taken with a grain of salt.
One thing for sure is known, however, and that is Karakor has mobilized his tribe to move on First City, deeming the human encroaching towards the swamp to be a threat. This could spell doom for both sides of the fight if Karakor is indeed immortal, it would mean an unending war until First City lied in ruins.
