Inside is a detailed list of guard schedules, patrol routes, delivery manifests, shipment times, and other notes used to organize the dock guard from Regus. Later pages stop recording this information and seem to switch more to an entry system.
With Regus having been evacuated, and whoever is left alive in the De Royne family gone, I've begun to find my way towards First City. Even with the brewing war there, it's got to be better than trying to pick up the pieces of a shattered city, I'll leave that to the optimists. Any contacts we had with the guild are over and done with as well, there's no way to track any of them down even if they wanted to be found. I've managed to get a small cart, currently traveling with a few refugees and one of the boys from the dock. At least we aren't all trying to make it somewhere alone.
If all works well, it should only take us a few days to get somewhere safe, and a few weeks to get to First City. Assuming we aren't waylaid by lizards, or worse, the city should be a decent spot to lay low and try to get ourselves set up again.
Another entry is written, but it seems to be scratched out.
Ended up getting signed on for one of the dozens of Adventurer's Guilds while I make my way to the city. It might be good to take the odd job here and there as long as the pay is good. Money is a bit tight at the moment, and folk are getting hungry. We've picked up another cart and a new horse as well, which is just another mouth to feed. If we get any bigger we're going to look like a plump caravan for the robbing.
Picked up a job, seems easy enough. I'm heading into a small town to the south to check in on some older folk. I figure it won't be too much trouble, though there are a lot of odd looking folk around here and I reckon I don't trust half of these adventurer types not to stab me in the back at a moment's notice, so it'll be better to keep this job on the smaller scale. Not too keen on big groups as of right now anyway.
