Arlow Harris

Dawnsilver Knight

Description

Arlow stands as a bastion of wisdom and compassion among the Dawnsilver Riders, his weathered features a reflection of his devoted life to the Order. With silver-streaked hair that was, at one point, a dark brown, and green eyes that hold the warmth of a life well loved, his presences radiates a gentle strength that belies his years. Donned in well-loved armour with minimal additions save for a striking insignia he uses as a cloak clip, he wears his mantle of seniority with humility and respect.

Personality

Unlike the stern countenance often associated with knights of his rank, Arlow is a beacon of kindness and familial warmth. Well recognized as a respected mentor, his approach to teaching transcends the classroom or the training yard, and he embraces each new member as if they were his own kin. In the Order's halls, his jovial laughter often echoes through the stone hallways, and his approachable nature serves as a wonderful influence on this around him, drawing knights and aspirants alike to seek his counsel and companionship. In private, Arlow carries the weight of the Order with him at all times, but deviates little from his public personality. A jovial man who loves what he does and the people around him.

Abilities

As a seasoned knight, Arlow's combat prowess is hones through decades of experience. Ever favouring his Dawnsilver Hammer, Arlow is a formidable presence on the battlefield as he crushes through the defences of his enemies with ferocious strength despite his years. Arlow's leadership extends beyond that of the training yard as well, inspiring the allies around him and demoralizing his enemies with his carefree approach to combat. Though not as tactically experienced as other knights, Arlow is ever looked to for creative approaches to situations that other, more rigid minds, may not see.

History

Arlow's history is intrinsically interwoven with that of the Dawnsilver Riders. A steadfast member since his younger days, he has witnessed the order's evolution and upheld it's tenants for decades. So storied has his career been that, even now as he approaches his seventieth winter, whispers of him becoming one of the next Knight Commanders follow him wherever he goes. While some question his soft approach, Arlow's commitment to caring for his people has created an undeniably foundation for him to stand proudly on as a leader. His influence on the generations of knights he has trained over the years has created several generations of knights who are far more creative and personable than previous aspirants.
