Backstory
For most of his life before coming to the Jedi, Dharg Raxos bounced between careers. He was a Pit Fighter. A bodyguard. A bouncer. There was even a time when he served as a judicial officer on Taris. In all of these jobs he was known as the 'jolly warrior', a man who loved nothing more than to raucously celebrate victories with friends and bash in the heads of his enemies with extreme prejudice.
Such a reputation, however, is both a blessing and a curse. While Dharg could boast of having a large number of friends, his exploits had earned him an equal number of enemies. Eventually he ran afoul of slavers hired by a crime lord he had crossed, vile beings who saw his strength as something they could exploit for profit. For years he was imprisoned on the spice mines of Kessel, forced to toil away day after day performing hard labor. There he may have remained were it not for the efforts of a New Republic strike team sent to liberate prisoners sent there by the Empire. Dharg was lucky enough to be freed that day, the 'crimes' he had been accused of being little more than lies.
It was during his time in rehabilitation at a hospital on Chandrila that he was approached by one of Luke's students who was assisting the medical staff there. Offered a place amongst the Jedi, Dharg at first saw it as just another career to add to his list of accomplishments but has since become a dedicated Jedi in his own right. Now he uses his strength to protect those in need, ever eager to share stories of the great deeds accompished by himself and others to whoever is in ear shot.
Appearence
A large Cathar man who seems to always be the tallest in the room with ice blue eyes, gray and white fur, and an impressive physique he is quite proud to show off.
Personality
Dharg is the epitome of the “jolly warrior”. He seems rarely to ever let things get him down, seeming to have the ability to bounce back from any setback quickly. He is friendly, perhaps overly so, and quite talkative but this does not mean he cannot take matters seriously. When lives are on the line and true evil at work he will never back down.Skillset & Role
Dharg is everyone’s biggest fan. While plenty capable in his own right, few things bring him joy more than seeing others succeed. He doesn’t see himself as a leader as much as a leader’s hype man, encouraging his team members to give every mission their all and push themselves to the limit in pursuit of their mission. He is gentle and good-natured despite what his intimidating appearance might give off at first and is generally there to put the spotlight on others while, of course, adding to his own legendary accomplishments as well.Campaign Development
