Session Summary

• The party arrived at Tatooine, while Knight Caden gave the team a run down of the information they had about their mission.
  
• Essentially an information broker called Barakas Vin (male Twi’lek) had details about an active effort being made against the Jedi within the Outer Rim.
  
• This effort was being led by a powerful and corrupt figure within the Outer Rim, though it was not safe to divulge the details of which over unsecure comms. So a meeting was agreed upon between Barkas and the Jedi within the abandoned town of Tearliff, on Tatooine where Barakas had a hideout.
  
• While a trap was possible, background checks on Barkas did not suggest he was one to lie and his intel gathering was historically accurate. So the Jedi decided to send a small team to check out the town, with Cade leading the group.
  
• The Jedi landed in the abandoned town, where Bakaras RA-Z droid was waiting to guide them along. They reached Bakaras hideout within an apartment complex, but the moment they opened the door it was revealed to be rigged with thermal detonators that exploded, dealing severe damage to several of the Jedi.
  
• Not long after, several other explosions filled throughout the building and it began to collapse in of itself, while the Jedi tried to escape. In the middle of their attempt, three shooters from within the town started to fire at the Jedi to try and take them out.
  
• Surviving the collapsing building and shooters, the Jedi hide within an abandoned shop to recover and come up with a plan. They chose to find out who their attackers were rather than just flee, begging a scouting mission to do just that.
  
• With a combination of sneaking, repurposing enemy scouting droids and their sharp senses - the Jedi were able to track the shooters to a warehouse with a captured Bakaras. Listening in on their conversation, they realized they were working for Yelvis Daveer - a devaronian criminal that some of the Order had tangled with once before.
• Getting the jump on the distracted bounty hunters, the Jedi began a tough battle with the bounty hunters.
• Several of the Jedi were injured, but they managed to best them and discover each of the hunters were also droids that seemed to wipe their memory core the moment they were defeated. Bakaras also assisted by getting control of the scouting droids that were originally his, and deactivating them.
• With the threat elimination, Bakaras was able to explain that Yelvis forced him to go along with this and promised to share any information he could to stop him. He claims Yelvis is a madman who wants to punish the Jedi for humiliating him previously.
• The Jedi agreed to help Bakaras get off the planet and somewhere safe, in exchange for his information. The Jedi leave the planet a little banged up but victorious and once more angering Yevlis, thanks to their escape.
