The step by step process of joining our moderation team as a full-time GM can be found below.
Step 1: Meet the Eligibility Requirements
The applicant must be a member in good standing with 10 sessions and 3 months of community involvement without major disciplinary actions.
Step 2: Run a Guest GM Session
The applicant must run three sessions as a Guest GM. This session allows the existing GM team to observe the applicant’s DMing style, including their storytelling ability, rule knowledge, player engagement, and ability to work within the team structure.
Step 3: Interview with the Leadership Team
The applicant will have a meeting with the current leadership team, and afterwards the leadership team will have an internal vote. During this meeting, the leadership team will outline expectations, define responsibilities, and answer any questions the applicant may have about the GM role.
Step 4: Community Q&A
The applicant will participate in a Q&A session with the community. This is an opportunity for players to ask questions and gauge the applicant’s approach to GMing.
Step 5: Community Vote
A vote will be held among the active playership to determine if the applicant will be accepted as a GM. The vote will be anonymous, and a simple majority is required for approval. A minimum participation threshold may be set to ensure a fair decision. Majority approval is required for the applicant to be officially added to the GM team.
