Teer
Teer are immediately distinguishable by their pointy ears. Their people are a bit divided lately as Teer history is rife with exclusionary politics and the occasionally oppressive reign of Stormbane. Most modern Teer view the monarchy as a bad thing, but the power of Aymar Stormbane's armies and magic has been something they have been unable to overcome. Teer recently have spread out beyond Stormbane, many looking for new lives away from their darker past. Recently, there has been rumblings amongst to Teer of taking back Stormbane and establishing a fairer system not based on a bloodline.
Personality:
Teer historically have been haughty, proud, and tend to turn up their noses at anyone who has yet to prove themselves. While this has settled a good amount in most Teer, some remnants of this history still remain. They can be stubborn, but many are willing to learn and open up to the experiences of the world around them. Other cultures and ideas are still new to many Teer as the government of Stormbane tends to merely avoid teaching about the citizens of the world and instead focus on their own exceptionalism.
Costuming Recommendations:
Teer all have pointy ears. Years of breeding choices have led the more noble caste to have longer ears than others. The king of Stormbane and his family all have nearly foot long ears, while others vary wildly in size, from human sized to longer. They dress in many different ways, but those that remain in Stormbane or more loyal to the nation tend to dress extravagantly and flaunt their wealth a bit. Teer wandering the world tend to adapt the dress of the people they live with.
