Obsidai
Tough, inventive, and intelligent, Obsidai are the prime inventors of Aeternia. The technological marvels they make rely on science and engineering more than magic. Well known for their crafts-people, they have led the world in developments in transportation, weaponry, and architecture. Most Obsidai live on Faelin, amongst the technological marvels present there. Many have taken to exploring the world and helping where they can. Many Obsidai have long beards, or at the very least, very unique hair styles.
Personality:
A bit rough and tumble, Obsidai can be a bit gruff, but usually produce amazing results. Always welcome in an adventuring party or city, their insight into their crafts is well respected and, amongst Obsidai, cherished. It has carried them this far and will continue to for many years to come.
Costuming Recommendations:
Obsidai tend to dress very utilitarian. They don't worry too much about fancy clothes and prefer to be ready to do what they are good at on a moment's notice. Many have large or long beards (of all genders), but some are distinguished by the unique patterns of hair growth they experience. Different areas of their head will grow hair at different rates, leading to things like extreme mullets or long braids. Some have large fluffy eyebrows or just... really hairy hands.
