Rituals
Rituals may be performed by anyone who knows them. They do not require a special skill to learn. They do not cost Essence to perform unless otherwise specified. A ritual book with printed out ritual information is a suggested but not required prop for those who know several rituals.
Freely Available rituals may be known and performed by anyone. Restricted rituals have some type of restriction on how they can be learned, who can perform them, or both.

Minimum Casters: 2
Time: 1 minute
The target of the ritual must be either willing or restrained. The casters examine the target for signs of the influence of a particular leyline, typically using ritual methods specific to the leyline in question. At the end of one minute, the casters become aware (the target briefly goes OOG to tell them) of whether or not the target is influenced by the leyline, but not whether the influence is minor or major. To cast this ritual on additional targets simultaneously, one additional caster is needed for each additional target.
Kludge Ley Influence
Minimum Casters: 2
Time: 5 minutes
Cost: 1 Essence per caster/helper
Similar to the skill Alter Ley Influence, you may spend five minutes performing a ritual themed around one leyline targeting a willing or incapacitated target who must be present at the ritual space. At the end of the five minutes, they are now minorly influenced by the leyline chosen for the ritual themeing. If they were already minorly influenced, they are majorly influenced. If they were previously influenced by the leyline’s opposite leyline, rather than gaining a new influence, that influence is now one level lower (minor if it was major; gone entirely if it was minor). You may target multiple subjects with this ritual but you must have a helper for each additional target. For example, you need two casters and one helper for two targets and two casters and two helpers for three targets.
Each caster - but not helper - who participates in the ritual gains an influence from the opposite leyline at the conclusion of the ritual. For example, if the ritual was to influence the targets with Chaos, the casters of the ritual are now minorly influenced with Order. If a caster started out minorly influenced with Order, they are now majorly influenced. If a caster started out influenced with Chaos, that influence is decreased by one level.
If any caster was already majorly influenced with the opposite element at the start of the ritual, there is a backlash: the ritual has all the normal effects and in addition, the extra leyline energy overflows and all targets, casters, and helpers gain a minor influence from a random leyline that is not one of the opposing pair involved in the ritual. Each person chooses for themself which leyline affects them.

Minimum Casters: 2
Time: 30 seconds
Restriction: All casters must have Slow Heal as a signature spell
This ritual cannot be performed during a combat; combat disrupts the energy of the ritual. The casters invoke their healing magic in tandem to heal anyone nearby. At the end of the ritual, up to three targets per caster are fully healed. Targets must be within five feet of the caster for the duration of the ritual.
